Prof. Yang Yue

Xi’an Jiaotong University, China

Biography:

Yang Yue is a professor and doctoral advisor at the School of Information and Communication Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. He is a member of the National Talent Program for Young Scholars, a senior IEEE member, and the founder of the Intelligent Photonic Application Technology Laboratory (iPatLab). His research focuses on optical communication, optical sensing, and optical chips. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Nankai University in 2004 and 2007, respectively, and his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in 2012. After graduation, he worked in Silicon Valley's semiconductor and networking industries. In 2021, he was selected for the “Youth Top Talent Support Program” at Xi'an Jiaotong University. Yue Yang has published over 200 papers, including in prestigious journals, and holds over 50 patents. He has delivered more than 100 invited talks and led various national and corporate research projects with funding exceeding 10 million RMB. Currently, he is an associate editor for IEEE Access and serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals while actively participating in international conferences as a chair and reviewer.
